Court Dismisses Mailafia’s Application To Stop Police Invitation.


High Court sitting in Jos has refused to grant an application by a former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Obadiah Mailafia, seeking to stop the Nigeria Police Force from investigating him.

The court dismissed the application on Tuesday.

The application was brought before the court after the police invited Mailafia to its Abuja headquarters following a radio interview he granted in which he accused a northern governor of being a leader of Boko Haram.

Police Parades Suspected Car Thief After He Was Caught With Stolen Toyota Hilux In Nasarawa   The suspect was arrested by police personnel who were on a stop-and-search operation.   The Suspect, Solomon Onyino A 38-year-old suspected thief identified as  Solomon Onyino has been arrested and paraded by the Nasarawa State Police for allegedly stealing a Toyota Hilux vehicle at Kuruda, Abuja.
